MAN'S TORSO FOUND.
Cleveland Has a Mystery Like Bos-
ton Sait Case Tragedy.
CLEVELAND, O, Nov. 13-0On one
of the city dumps here some children
discovered a human torso, including
the thorax and shoulders, but devold
of head, arms and legs
The identity of the person is shroud-
ed io mystery. There was not a shred
of clothing attached to the torso. It
was turned over to the police and re-
moved to the morgue The wost strik-
tng discovery was a bullet wound In
the right side, which the coroner
thinks caused death
The post mortem held by Coroner
Slegelstein showed that the body was
that of a murdered man. It also de
veloped that the body had been em-
baled, The theory that the body had
been cut up lu a medical school and
then discarded, thence being hauled to
the “dump,” was scouted by the core-
ner,
The body showed curious marks of
mutilation, in that the head and arms
bad evidently been pulled off or cut
rudely The coroner bolds that It is
the portion of the body of a mau. His
welght was probably 140 pounds, but
it was not possible to teil his age
