The Same Old Story Waverly—Miss Anna Sullivan, a dressmaker, occupying rooms in the McCarthy block, corner Broad and Clark streets, was cleaning a pair of kid gloves with gasoline last evening at about 6 o'clock, when the gasoline ignited from a lighted gas jet. A still alarm was sent into the fire department head- quarters and a part of the depart- ment responded promptly.
