The attention of the several districtS of the
commonwealth is respectfully directed to the fifth
section of the supplement to the school law, (pate,
ed the 15th of April, 1635.) Agreeably with the
provisions of that section, the portidns of the
stale appropriation intended fa the 30'401 die,

accepting districts in the respective divisions.
' The two years above mentioned will expire:on
die 15th day of April, 1837. Before that day on

commissioners (viz on the 2d day of May next)

the several divisions, or at some of the regular

Schools," passed April Ist A. D. 1834, it is pro
vided that the City and County of Philadelphia,
and every Oilier city in this Commonwealth, shall
each torsi a School Division, and that every town
ship, watd and borough; within the several School
Diviviono, shall each form a School District: Pro-.
vided, that any borough which is or may be. con
nected with a township in the Assmisment and
ecllection of county rates and levies, shall with
the said towinibtp, tit) long as it remains. go con
nected, form a district, and each ofsaid districts
shall contain a competent number of Common
