TOWANDA RIFLE RANGE, Saturday Dee. 17,
1881. at 1 p. in. there will be a mid Range
match, open to all comers. Distance 500
yards. Ten rounds. Weapon any rifle. Mil
itary rides used, as such, allowed four points.
Entrance fee lifty cents. Ite-cntries allowed.
Prize, a25 lb. turkey. No Lightning shots
will be allowed, but targets will be assigned
as Bull's eye targets, at which competitors
may practice at any time, provided such prac
tice does not interfere with their presence at
the tiring point.

ical Alliance has appointed the tirst week in
January as the week of prayer, the following
is the program which is sent forth to all the
churches of the world:
SUNDAY, January I.—Subject for discourse
"Renewed Consecration."
MONDAY, January 2.—Thanksgiving for
the blessings, temporal and spiritual, for the
past year, and prayer for their continuance.
TUESDAY, January 3. —Humiliation and
onfession on account of individual,j social
and national sins.
WEDNESDAY. January 4— Prayer for the
blessings of God on llis Church and His
Word.
THURSDAY, January 5. —Prayer for the
young and all agencies for Christian training.
FRIDAY, January 6.—Prayer for the uni
versal prevalence of peace and righteous
ness.
SATURDAY, January 7. —Prayer for Chris
tian missions, theontpouringof the llolv Spir
ct and the conversion of the world.
