Doctor RANDALL, of Forksville, Sullivan county, died on Mondav. He formerly resi ded in this county and was last year present ed by the republicans of .Sullivan us theircun didate for Congress. YARD. —We were not aware until a visit to the premises yesterday, of the extensive improvements recently made at what is known as the OVERTON basin, near the Episcopal Church. A roadway lias besn constructed west of the railroad track ami a substantial bridge thrown across the entrance to the basin, thus opening River street from the Bridge to the freight depot. On the west side of this road a large coal shed has been erected extending nearlyj to the new Church foundation, with sixteen bins, each of which will hold fifty tons of coal. The yard is en closed by a higii fence, and everything about it done in the most convenient and substan tial manner. The work has been prosecuted under tho supervision of T. M. WOODRUFF.
