We regret to learn that Mrs. J. 11. KEVINS cut a severe gash on her left fore-arm while trimming grape vines yesterday. While the wound may not be dangerous it will disable her for some time. Our townsman and popular merchant, Mr. JAMES MCCABE, yestehiay led to the hymen eal altar Mrs. KATE M. ALLEN, a most esti mable lady of Wysox. The newly married couple started at once on a bridal trip which will include Boston and New York. The bride will meet with a cordial reception at the hands of her husband's large circle of friends when she assumes hc-r position as mis tress of his pleasant home. Hon. WILLIAM A. CRAFTS and daughter, Miss EMILY, and their friend, Miss DONIK EATON, of Boston, who have been recently visiting Rev. The memorial exercises atSayre 011 Monday were of a novel and exceedingly interesting character. The Sunday school children were marched to the Park where short aopropri ate addresses were mnde by President PACK KR, the venarable SIDNEY HAYDKX, and the ltevs. ROSENMULT.KR, SEYMOUR and HOOD, and an elm tree planted dedicated to the mem ory of President GARFIELD. The . boys cast the earth over the roots and the girls strewed garlands of flowers. The tree will be care fully nurtured and we hope may long remain a monument to the blessed memory of the greatest American statesman, and to remind coming generations of the deep grief and gen uine patriotism which prompted its plautlug on the memorably sad occasion.
