GENERAL ORDER NO. in
I. General Order No t from Division Head
quarters fixes the time for the Encampment
from August 23(1 to August 2i)th 18S1, at
Wilkcsßurre, Pa.
11. Transportation, camp oiul garrison
equipage, and subsistence will be furnished.
111. The annual inspection by the Adjutant
General, during said encampment, is announ
ced to take place on Thursday August 25tb,
at 3 p. m.
IV. The Brigade will he reviewed by the
Commander-in-Chief on Saturday August 27th
at t p. m.
V. The Commander-in-Chief, in General
Order No. 12. announces the following : v
" The inspection will no rigorous. Fspoeial
attention will be given to care and condition
of clothing and equipments, and number of
articles of each on band. All rolls must be
completed as near as may be before leaving
the rendezvous. These encampments arc
held under the provisions of, and by authori
ty of the law. It is mandatory, and requires
the attendance of all who hoid commissions
or are serving a term of enlistment.
" Excuses for absence will be entertained
for such reasons only as would prevail in ac
tual service. Officers and men can only be
absent from this service by permission of the
Brigade Commander.
"To be effective and instructive, Iho en
campment demands the continuous attend- !
a net; of each individual for the whole time j
provided for. Titer • will be no payment for j
partial service, il' a leave of absence or fur- j
lomrii be granted upon surgeon's certificate of j
difability, where tin* disability arises in camp,,
or by reason of serious illness <>r death in the j
soldier's family, occurring while he is on his j
tour of duty, the payment, will be in full."
VI. The encampment will occupy but six .
days, and you will receive pay for live, re-j
quiring you to lose one day only. In accord- 1
a nee with orders from headquarters.none can j
be excused from the attendance at this en- |
cgmpuient, except by the Brigade Command
er.
VII. All fines and dues for non-attendance
at drills, are hereby remitted up to June Bth
18SI. From this date, (June Sth). all lines will
be charged and reported to Headquarters, in
accordance with the law now in force. The
line - for lion attendance at regular drills are

geants 24, Corporals 15. privates, 10 For ab

VIII. The book. " The Sentinel and his
Duties," will be issued to each member of
the company, as company property. A care

ers and men must understand guard mount
ing and their duties, while serving a tour of
guard. Hereafter members of the company
will be reprimanded or punished for ignor
ance of Guard mounting or the duties of a
sen! inch
IX. The members of the company will re
port at the Armory on Saturday, 20 of Au
gust, 1881 at one o'clock i*. M. sharp for an
out door drill and company parade, with
knapsack, haver-ack and canteen.
X. The following appointment of non-com
missioned officers is announced:
