Sweet is suffer ing from severe hemorrhage of the lungs. His situation is quite critical. He is being treated by Dr. Hull. Rev Van Kirk is a little out of health, by the excessive heat of the past week. He takes a respite from pulpit labors. Mrs. Anna Curry (colored) yvife of Geo. Curry, our barber, lias returned from a re cent visit to her friends, bringing a fresh girl baby vv it li her. George says that it looks for all the world just like its grandpa Alden. Wm. A. Park, Fsq., has been under the doctors care for ten days past. Mrs. Smitlijwith her children, is visiting her brother-in-law. In 1806 Geneva Medical College, unsolicited, conferred upon me the honorary degree of M.
