President PACKER and family left Sayre yesterday for the Thousand Islands, where they will ocoupy their pleasant cottage, ''ldle wi'.d," until the first of September. Rev. JOHN S. BEERS having accepted a call to a Church iu Massachusetts, has tendered his resignation as rector of Christ Church, to take effect the middle of September. The resignation has been accepted by the vestry. L. C.
