The new law requiring praetieioners
of niedicin and surgery to take their diplo
mas to the TTothonotaried of their counties
to ie registered has been signed by the Gov
ernor and lias gone into effect. and the pencil v
for refusing to comply with this law i- a line
of one hundred dollars, one-half to go to the
prosecutor and the other half to the county,
with imprisonment in the county jail at the
discretion of the Court. This is one of the
