Our usually quiet little town has experienc ed considerable of excitement within the past few days, on account of a "Horse show" and circus, the latter of which came oil" on Tues day afternoon and evening, the circus going people pronounced it very good, some even say it was better than the big one iu Towan da and Troy; quite a compliment for our little town. Well, we always did have a great idea of excelling our big "sister villages" some time, and now we think we are on the road to fame. Our sympathies were quite excited the morning of the show, by hearing a batchelor friend lamenting over his misfortune 011 not being able to attend the show, as he would have to go alone and that would be so lone some. Our heart ached for him in his lone liness, and were it possible lor us to secure some sweet loving being, (even at this late hour,) to cheer his lonely hours and attend circuses with him, how gladly we would do it, but as charity begins at home, perhaps it would be well for us to secure the sweet little darling for ourselyes.
