SAVICUCOOL, the young man who escaped
from jail a few months ago, has been arrested
in Auburn, N. Y. He was charged with
stealing old iron from the railroad company,
The annual meeting of the Wyoming Con
ference of the M. E. Churoli will commence
at Waverly on the Gth of next April, and
continue one week. Bishop ANDREWS, of
Washington, will preside.
As the regular term election of officers of
the Philomathean Society occurs to-night,
there will be no lecture at the Institute. Next
Tuesday evening Mr. MLAFARLANK will de
liver a lecture there.
Several days since O. D. KINNEY advertis
ed in the REVIEW for a volume of Appleton's
Cyclopedia, which had mysteriously disap
peared from his office. Yesterday morning
the book was left on his table, the person
returning it leaving 110 evidence of identity,
so that ORRIN cannot personally thank him.
Capt. WILT'S CO. A, returned from Wash
ington Saturday evening. The boys looked
very soldierly as they came "inarching home.'
Their clean new overcoats, bright bayonets,
and soldierly bearing reminded us of the
days of 1861. We do not believe there was a
better disciplined and more gentlemanly ap
pearing company in the procession at Wash
ington.
GKKMANIA ASSEMBLIES.— There will be
held a series of six assemblies 111 the hall now
used by Prof. Danielle's dancing academy in
Colonel Means' store, on Friday evening of
each week, commencing March 11th. Danc
ing promptly at 8 o'clock. Tickets admitting
gentleman and lady, 50 cents.
