form the basis of Dr. TAYLOR'S discourse at
the church of the Messiah (Universalis), to
morrow morning. In the evening his theme
will be, 44 Redemption from a Uniyersalist
standpoint."

Prof. Danielle's terms for the next and last
half term will be. New pupils, $3 each, with
the privilege of both afternoon and evening
session. Old pupils. #2 each, with same pri
vilege. Admission to assemblies, to those
not pupils, gents. 75 cents, ladies and children
25 cents. Spectators, 10 cents.
DEFEAT OF THE BOSSES.—At the late elec
tion in Philadelphia the bosses who have
ruled the city and plundered the people of a
thousand dollars a day for the last ten years,
were brought to a sudden hault and taught
that in the future the people propose to be
the bosses. Yet we are glad to say that Chas

The Women's Foreign Miseionary Society
of the Presbyterian Church, will hold their
annual meeting at two o'clock this after,
noon, in the lecture room of the church. All
the members are requested to attend and all
other ladies interested in the cause are invi
ted to be preseut.
The regular Quarterly Meeting of the
Women's Foreign Missionary Society will be
held at the house of Mrs. A. J. EASTAHROOKS
to-morrow, Saturday, March 5, 1881, at 3
p. m. A full attendance is desired as impor
