Independents Prepare for Eastern
League Club
The Harrisburg Independents have
been practicing hard all week for their

League team to morrow night. Captain
EMcOord will have his regular line up
in the game and hopes to hand the vis
itors a defeat. The game will be called
at 8 o'clock and will be fallowed by the
usual dance.
On account of the usual large crowd
that attends the Eastern League games
special extra seats are being arranged
and the doors will be opened earlier.
The manager of the Independents has
arranged » game with the Rending
Eastern League team and Camden anil
Trenton are both scheduled for a re
turn game and negotiations are being
made with the Jasper t&m.

Scrubs Lose First Game
The Hershey High school five met de
feat at the hands of the Methodist

an easy victory for the Locals, who lead
