LARGE POTATOES—AND, SMALL.-3...
.i'paulding, of Chatham, loft two.large potatoes,
nio of which weighs 2 lbs. 12 oz., the other 1 lb. -
1l oz. They wore dug from two bills, one of
which contained 216, and the other 355 potatoes.
The seed came from Bradford county; name of
clriety unknown.
State street is being rtapidly improved
and beautified, by the building and adorning' of
neat residences, ns well as the straightening and
grading, of the street. It promises to be the
handsomest street in the county.
