shot Williams in the right side, and
again. in the right eye. Clarke died
almost instantly, and Williams within
twenty minutes. 'Williams, the assail

considerable legal ability, but addicted
to excessive use orardeat spirits. Jude
Clarke was' from New York: Senator
Fountain was well known here.
