Mr. Kemp was a great sufferer from a cancer
on his lip, which completely destroyed the lower
lip and a greater portion of hie face, Every
was apparently done to &Ivo life, but the
disease continued its worlruistillife, gave way to
as destroyer. The deceased, - hi' company with
his two sons, enlisted and served tho government
heroically in the late war, until his health was so
greatly impaired that ho was discharged and
scut home.
