TILE NURSERY.—TIiiS Is a , 1.1) onthly,
intended for the youngest ;enders, printed on
Large type, with many illustrations. The great
eft drcully, perhaps, in the way of young per-,
igns ecoming good readers, is thiet most subjects
. re' beyon d their comprehension, as presented in
Oar school readers and juvenile books, It is at.
very difficult thing, indeed; for the author to rea
con and write from the simple standpoint of
chiliihood. AU are apt to forget that the 'way ,
they have traveleil for years, end which bus he
• come rarolior to them, is new and strange, and
often bewildering, to the child. The Etirsery
seeks to keep this fact in the minds of its contrib
utors; and we think .it succeeds admirably in its
efforts to present a medium.of information in the
simplest form for the young.
