smash-up n their engine-roost on Christmas

the engine, the latter being in slow motion, when

the main shaft, the crosshead, the eylinddr' head,

Mr. Jacob Conley, in the employ of
/Mr. C. P. Grinnell on his log job on Marsh Creek,
met with a sudden and dreadful death. llp was
working near a pile of logs, when the logs hogan

less mass.
