FIRE IPI BROORRTELE. , --At Midnight
of Monday, 12th the large barn owned by
Mr. 11. B. Seeley, of Brookfield, wa's . disliovered
to be on fire, and in a short time was utterly con
sumed, with aliout3so bushels of winter wheat,
15 tons of hay, and farming Utensils etiareil therer
in. Of a yoke of oxen in tho stables, one,was
burned, the incendiary having e.ut the stiap of
the ono that escaped. There.Feents to lie no'
doubt that the fire', was by design. Mr. Seeley'e
loss is about $1,200, Insured for $9OO.
