INVENTION.—The editor of the Troy
Gazette has been shown an ingenious 9 F aatwest
Scale Beam and Ready Reckoner, the invention
of 11. S. Cushing, of Blossburg. It is „a brass,
cylinder two inches in diameter; marked with a
teries of divisions and numbers. This turns on
the scale-Learn at pleasure, and tty a sliding ring
