She was one of the first settlers, and endured the toils and privations incident to the early set-' tiers of the plitce. She leaves a bereaved hus band and a large family of children to mourn the lose of a wife and mother. She was born Nov. 18, 1796, and baptised into the fellowship of the Daptist church in 1826.
