boro Baptist Church. Youths' prayer meet
ings of much interest have been held for over
two months, in which' many conversions
have occurred. These converts had begun
to inquire what hindered-that they shcaild be
baptised. Watgr in and about this village is
a very scarce article. But the Baptists will
find it if is to be had; for. 10, a rountaiysud
denly appears In the midst of the platifirm

evening seven persons were baptised. It be
ing the first Baptistry ever erected in the
county, the occurrence naturally drew to
gether a farge concourSc' of people, 'every
