that a letter containing $l5 in coin which
was registered in the Post Office in this

of Pniliips, Exeter Academy, at Exeter,

For the present we forbear 'comment
'on the. above. It behooves the P. 0.
Department to look after a loss of this

the 'natter is attended to by those to whom

report, it would appear that the lade!Amines'
of the collo& was reduced; during the, last
year, to the amount of 1,300 Dollars; when
it appears by the statement of receipts and ex
penditures, that the expenditures exceeded
the receipts. This discrepancy is accounted
for by the fact that aftei the last year's reports
were made Harry Ellis, late 'Treasurer, paid
over 6:'.319 64, op his account, which Orders
were cancelled and checked on our Books.
