Medical men of the highest distinction and talent, such as Matthias, Alley, Cramp• ton, Pearson, Abernethy, Carmichael, &c. atrirm that chancres and buboes, ulcerations in the throat, together with diseases of tho periosteum, tendons, cartilages, ligaments, fascia, and eruptions of a highly obstinate character, are the consequence from the ad. ministration or use of mercury.
