My appetite is good, and my sleep re freshing and quiet, and I can follow ray oc cupation with comfort. Previous to taking the Drope,l had given up all hopes ofrelief." The above remarkable case of cure is ut. tested to by Rev. JARED REID, and DANIEL CHUTE, Esq. Justice Peace, Reading, (Mass Scrofula. In 1931, an Agent writes,--' , ln another case (the Botanical Drops)undoubtedly had the happiest effect. In this instance the de sease appeared to pervade the whole system. It was undoubtedly of a scrofulous nature. The glands in various parts became enlar ged, hard and very painful, and became oth erwise so atlected with the disease as to be under the necessity of giving up business and confine himself to his room for sever al weeks; one or two of the swellings sup purated, and discharged a considerable quantity. The bones, the physician told him, were also materially diseased. It was precisely under these circumstances that lie commenced the use of the Botanical Drops, andas he used nothintg else, ( w ith the exception of sonic purgative occasion ally) and perfectly restored to health, we are,(orcourse) warranted in drawing the con clusion, that this happy result was.brought a bout solely by their agency." dnother case. JTcnnnot be denied that whilst many med icines whiitli are recommended to the public, have not even the negative merit of harmlessness, there tiro others which it would bo great injustice indeed and suicidal prejudice to involve, untried, in a common condemnation. And when a medicine comes endorsed with all the great profession, and warranted by the seal and signature of long and uniform success, its proprietor makes no unreasonable demand upon public confi dence, when ho claims for it a superior con sideration. THE CAMOMILE PREPARATION of Dr. Evans, of Now York, is undeniably entitled to this enviable distinction; for whilst no medical authority in existence condemns it, every medical, work which alludes to it, and every medical practitioner that is ac quainted with it, freely acknowledges its pre-eminent virtues; mid that the latter ,should do so in opposition to their personal interests, must be attributed either to their candor and love of truth, or to their unwill ingness to fly in the thee of all observation and the testimony of thousands. Dr. W. EVANS does not pretend that his Camomile Pills will cure all diseases.— Ho frankly and conscientiously admits that they will not. lie lays no claim to the dis covery of the "Philosopher's Stone, and wishes nobody to believe that ho sells they Elixir of Life," but he does say and ho does believe and he can prove that in debilitated and impaired constitutions; in nervous dis eases of all kinds; in weakness of the diges tive organs; in incipient consumption+ wheth er of the lungs or of the liver; in the dread ful debility occasioned by the u of purga tives, in palsy, rheumatism (no' o especial ly) in the sickness incident to mothers and 'females of relaxed nerves; in every case of 'deliiium tremens, or that disease which is brought on by intemperance; in the wretch. ed horrors of the mind and body which tlor';',.:,;; crue from occasional inebriety, in the itcsa of appetite; languor, . melancholy, pail* in the head, limbs, or side; in corrupt, sallow, and uncomely complexions, which arise from the bad state of the fluids; in all•thesie cases, and in some others mentioned in iho bills and direct ions his medicines, he does say, that thu Camomile Pill interchang ed occasionally with his aperient family pills, (the hest known) which are sold with them, will affect immediate relief; and ifus ed but for a fair period of trial, a perfect cure. This much is placed beyond doubt, by daily testimonies which. would be given on oath; and for this much Dr. W. Evans can conscientiously request confidence. Ho therefore need only to add that his camomile pills, together with his excellent aperient pills, can be obtained, wholesale or retail at no. 19th north Stli at. Philadelphia.
