ward or district, as is appointed by law, for
that purpose, by the respective Constables,
(who are required to give at least one week's
notice of such an Election) assisted by two
qualified citizens, chosen by such citizens,
qualified to vote, as shall then be present.:
And it is also in and by the said Act requir
ed, that the Agent and Inspectors be at the
places of their Districts, on the day of the
General Election aforesaid, at nine o'clock
in the ferenoon,to do and perform the sever
al duties required and enjoined on them in
and by the same Act.

Act of the General Assembly of this State
aforesaid, passed the 17th day of Match,
I RN, aforesaid, that one of the JUDGES
of each of the different Districts as afore
said, who shall have the charge of the cer
tificate of the number of votes which shall
