piece shown us was smelted from ore got
not many miles from Mill Creek, and is
really gold of a tolerable pure quality. The
precise location of the mine is only known
by one man, who has sent a quantity of the
ore to Philadelphia to have it tested, and it
bas proven to be gold with a slight admix.
