Poor. 0. J. Woon—Dear Sir 1 haVe heard
much said of the wonderful effects of your Hair
Restorative, but having been so often cheatef.
. by quackery and nostrums, hair dyes, &c., I w.
• disposed to plate your Restorative in the same
. category with the thousand and one loudly trum
peted quack remedies, until I met you in Law
rence county some months since, when yon
gave mu such assurance as induced the trial of
your Restorative in my family—tiret by my good
wife, whose hair had become very thin and en
- tiruly white, and before exhausting ono of your
large bottles, her hair Wes restored nearly to its
original beautiful brown color, and lind thicken
ed!' and become beautiful and glossy upon, and
entirely over theahead ; she continues to use it,
not simply because of its bentitify.ng effects up
on the hair, but because of its healthful influ
ence upon m bead and mind, Others of my
family and friends nee using your Restorative.
with the happiest effects ; therefore, my skepti
cism and doubts in reference to its character are
• entirely removed; and I can and do most cordi
ally and confidentially recommend its itse by all
who would have their hair restored from white
or gray (by reason of sickness or age,) to origi
nal color and beauty, and by all young persons
who would have their hair beautiful.
Very truly and gratefully routs, SOLOMON.IANN.
Vnimf Wools : It wns a long time after I saw
you at Blissfield before I got the bottle of Re
storative for which you gave me an order upon
your agent in Detroit, and when I got it we
concluded to try it on Mrs. Mann's hair, ns the
surest test of its power. It has dune all that
you assured me it would do: and others of my
family and friends, having witnessed its effects'
are now using and recommending its use to oth
ers as entitled to the highest consideration you
claim for it.
Again, very respectfully and truly vourg '

1 have used Prof. 0. J. Wood's Hair Restor

My hair was becoming, as I thought, premature

resumed its original color, and, I have no doubt
permanently so.

Dr. Hardman, Physician fn• disease of the
Dings, (formerly Physician . to Cincinnati Ma

Huntingdon, Jael:son's Hotel, Sunday,June 27th
Dr. H. is compelled to make this month's
visit on Sunday or disappoint the sick.
Dr. Hardman treats Consumption, Bronchi-,
tis, Asthma, Larryngittis and all diseases of the
throat end bingo, by medical Inhalation, lately
used in the Bromton Hospital, London. The
great point in the treatment of all h omen mala
dies-is to get at the disease in the direct man-
ner., All medicines ere estimated by their or-'
tion upon the organ requiring relief. This is
the important fact upon which Inhalation is ba
sed. If the stomach is diseased we Like
medicine directly into the stomach. lithe lungs
are diseased, breathe or inhale medicated va
pors directly into the lungs. Medicines are the
antidotes to disease and should be applied to
the very sent of disease. lehalation is the ap
plieation of this principle to the treatment of
the lungs, for it gives us .direct erects to those
intricate air cells end tubes which lie out of
reach of every other means of administering
medicines. The reamm that Consumption, and
other diseases of the lungs, have heretofore re
sisted all treatment has been because they had
never been appronehed in a direct enamor by
medicine. They were intended to act upon the
lungs and yet were applied to the stomach.—
' Their action was intended to be local, and yet,
they were so administered that they shoeld not
act constistutionally, expending immediate and
principal action 'Ton the unotlending stomach,
whilst the foul ulcers within the lungs were un
molested. Inhalation brings the medicine in
direct contact with the disease, without the
disadvantage of any violent action. Its
cotton is simple, that it can be employed by the
I youngest intent or feeblest invalid. It does not
