me at the rate of $2,000 to $3,000 per annum;
and having made arrangements to go to Europe
in the fall of 1857 to engage in the same bast
nest, I am willing to give full instructions in the
art to any person in the United States or Cana
l., who will remit me the sum of $l. lum
induced, from the success I have been favored
with, and the many thankful acknowledgements
I have received from those whom I have instruc
ted, end who are making from $5 to $l5 per
day at it, to give any person an opportunity to
engage in this business, which is easy, pleasant,
and very profitable, at a small cost. Therein ',
positively No Bustin. in the matter. Referen
ces of the best class can be given as regards its
character, and I can refer to persons whom I
have instructed, who will testify that they are
making from $5 to $l5 per day at the same. It
is a business in which either ladies or gentlemen
can engage, and with perfect ease make a very
handsome income. Several LADIES in various
parts of Nev York State, Pennsylvainia and
Maryland, whom I have instructed are now ma
king from $3 to $6 per day at it. It is a gene
ral business, and but a few shillings is required
to start it. limn receipt of $l, 1 will immedit
ately send to the applicant a printed circular con
taining full instructions in the art which eau he
perfectly understood at once.

state that in April, 1853, I peddled it and sold
about six bottles per day—in April, 1854, I sold

been in business twenty and thirty years, say
that nothing in the annals of patent medicines
was liver like it. There is a universal praise
of it from all quarters.
In my own practice I always kept it strictly
for humor—hut since its introduction as a gen
eral family medicine, great and wunderitil vir
tues have been found in it that I never suspect
ed.
Several eases of epileptic fits—a disease
which was always considered incurable, have
been cured by a few bottles. 0, what a mercy
if it will prove effectual in all cases of that
dreadful malady—there are but few who have
more of it than I have.
I know of several cases of Dropsv, all of
whom aged people cured by it. For the vari
ous diseases of the Liver, Sick Headache, Dys
pepsia, Asthma, Fever and Ague, Pain in th e
Side, Diseases of the Spine, and particularly
in diseases of the Kidneys, &c., the discovery
has done more good than any medicine ever
known.
