AYER'S CHERRY PECTORAL. For the rapid cure of Coughs, Colds, Hoarse ness, Bronchitis, Whooping-Cough. Asthma and Consumption, is universally known as the best remedy ever yet discovered for every variety of Pulmonary disease. So wide is the field of its usefulness and so numerous the eases of its cures that almost every section of the country abounds in persons publicly known, who have been re stored from alarming and even desperate eases of the lungs by its use. When once tried its su periority over every other medicine of its kind is too apparent to escape observation, and where its virtues are known, the public no longer hesi tate what antidote to employ tor the distressing and dangerous affections of the pulmonary or gans which are incident to our climate. By its timely use many, nay, almost all attacks of dis ease upon the Lungs or Threat, are arrested and thus are saved many thousands every year from a premature grave. No family should be without it, and those who do neglect to provide themselves with a remedy which wards off this dangerous class of diseases will have cause to deplore it when it is too late. Proofs of the sur prising efficacy of the Cherry Pectoral need not be given to the American people,—they have li ving proofs in every neighborhood. But those who wish to rend the statements of those whose whole health has been restored and whose lives have been saved by its use, will find them in my American Almanac which the agent below nen, ed has to furnish gratis to every one. Five to eight bottles will cure the worst case of scrofula. . _ _ A benefit it always experienced from the first bottle, and a perfect cure in warranted when the about quantity is taken. Reader, I peddled over ft thousand bottles of this in the vicinity of Boston. 1 knew the effect of it in every ease. So sure as water will extinguish fire, so sure will this cure humor.— I never sold a bottle of it but that sold another; after a trial it always speaks for itself. There are two things about this herb that appear to me surprising; first it grows in one pastures in some places quite plentiful and yet its value has never been known until I discovered it in lB46—second that it should cure all kinds of humor. . In order to give some idea of the sudden rise and great popularity of the discovery. I will state that in April, 1853, I peddled it and sold about six bottles per day—in Aprd, 1854, I sold over one thousand per day of it. Some erne wholesale Druggists who have been in business twenty and thirty years, say that nothing in the annuls of patent medicines was ever like it. There is a universal praise of it from all quarters. In my own practice I always kept it strictly for humor—but sines its introduction as a gen eral family medicine ' great and wonderful vir tues have boost found in it that I never suspect ed. Several eases of epileptic fits—a disease which was always considered incurable, have been cured by a few bottles. 0, what a mercy it it will prove effectual in all cases of that dreadful malady—there arc but few who have more of it than I have. _ . I know of several MRCS of Dropsy, all of whom aged people cured by it. For the vari ous diseases of the Liver, Sick Headache, Dys pepsia. Aithmi, Fever and Ague, Pain in th e Side, Discal•es of the Spine. and particularly in diseases of the Kidneys, &e., the discovery has clone more gcod than any medicine ever known. No change of diet ever necessary—oat the best you cab get and enough of it.
