    VEGETABLE CATTLE POWDER.
ITI:r:kBED BY
BREIXIG, FRONEFIELD & CO,
The FARMERS, HORSEMEN and D A IRY
MEN ONE and ALL speak in the highest terms of
BREINI6, FRONERIELD & CO's CELEBRATED
CATTLE POWDER and well they may, for in the
last hundred years no discovery has been made
equal in all respects to theirs. It is not only ut
individual interest, but it must in time become a
great national benefit; in the aggregate it will add
at least one Million of Dollars annually to the
produce of the Country in the increase of MILK,
BUTTER and FAT from the same amount of food,
beside the many, VERY MANY lives of valuable
animals which it will save by restoring them to
health.
The PROPRIETORS of this powder have investi
imted this suioet for years, during a long resi
it.'lll2o in the Country. By closely analysing all
the different secretions of animals, at ALL TIMES
:aid SEASONS, they are at last amply rewarded by
their wonderful discovery,
Since they have prepared THEIR PownEn and
the Farmers all over the Country far and wide
are using it and praising it up to the skies; some
other persons have got up a powder in the same
kind of packages and are palming it off on the
. .
They caution therefore all persons against such
impositions, awl advise them to buy noxe, NOT a
rot:No without it tau the written Signature of
BREINIG, FRONEFIELD & Co., on the end
of the Pack. The proprietors are able and prac
tical Chemists and are well acquainted with all
the laws which control the health and nutrition
of animals.
N. B. Do not be imposed upon and allow your
Animals to die or linger with disease because you
have fed the wrong Cattle Powder. The Signa
ture of BREINIG, FRONEFIELD CO.
is on the end of each pack of the genuine Article.

Their power over the above diseases is not ex

the United States, us the cures attest, in many
cases after skilful physicians had failed.
These Bitters are worthy the attention of inva

of diseases of the Liver and lesser glands, exer

affections of the digestive organs, they are withal,
safe, certain and pleasant.

Dr. lloVand's 'Celebrated German Bitters for
the cure of Livet Complaint, Jaundice, Dyspepsia,
Chronic or Nervous Debility, is deservedly one of
the most popular' medicines of the day. These
Bitters have been used - by thonsands, - and a friend
at our elbow says he had himself received an Mkt.,
Mal and permanent cure of laser Complaint front
the use of this remedy. We are convinced that,
in the use of those Bitters, the patient constantly
gains strength and vigor—a fact worthy of great
consideration. They are pleasant in tact and
smell, and can be used by persons with the most
delicate stomachs with safety, under any cirettin
stuncos. We are speaking from experience, and
to the afflicted we advise their use.
"SCOTT'S WEEKLy," one of the best Literary
papers published, said Aug. ds—
HOCIVLANI,S GERMAN BITTERS, mans
factored by Dr. Jackson, are now recommended
by some of the most prominent members of the
faculty as an article of much efficacy in eases of
female weakness. As such is the case, we would
advise all mothers to obtain a bottle, and thus sauce
themselves much sickness. Persons of debilitated
constitutions will find those Bitters advantageous
to their health, as wo know from experience the
salutary effect they have ilium weak systems."
AllAtE EVfDENCE.
The Hon. C. 1). IIiNcLINE, Mayor of the city
of Camden, N. J., says :
,
"1 - 100FLAND ' S GERMAN BITTEItS.-We have
seen many flattering notices of this medicine, and
the source from which they came induced us to
make inquiry respecting its merits. From inqui
ry we were persuaded to use it, and must say we
found it specific in its action upon diseases ut the
liver and digestive organs, and the powerful in
fluence it exerts upon nervous prostration is real
ly surprising. It calms and streughtensihe nerves
bringing them into a state of repose, making sleep
refreshing.
"If this medicine was more generally used, we
are satisfied there would be less sickness, as front
the stomach, liver, and Inman; system the great
majority of real and imaginary diseases emanate.
Have them in it healthy condition, and you can
hid defiance to epidemics generally. This extra
ordinary -medicine we would advise our friends
who are at all indisposed, to give a trial—it will
recommend itself. It should, in fact, be in every
family. No other medicine can produce such ev
idences of merit."
Evidence upon evidence has been received (like
the foregoing) from all sections bf the Union, the
also throb yearn, and the strongest testimony in its
favor, is, that there is more of it used in the pray.

THE TRUE
LIGESTIVE FLUID,
Oil, GASTRIC JUICE.
Prepared from Bennet, or the fourth
stomach of the ox, after directions of Baron
Lichig, the greet Physiological Chemist, by J. S
Houghton, M. D. Philadelphia, Pa.
This is a truly wonderful remedy for Indigestion,
Dyspepsia, Jaundice, Liver Complaint, Consti
pation, and Debility, Curing after Nature's own
method, by Nature's own Agent, the Gastric
Juice.
4,4' Half. teaspoonful of PEPSIN, infused in wa
ter, will digest a• dissolve, Fire Pounds of Roast
Bee/'in about two hours, out of the stomach.
PEPSIN is the chief clement, or Great Digest
ing Principle of the Gastric Juice—the Sofeent of
the Food, the Purikting, Preserving, and Stimula
tiny Agent of the Stomach and Intestines. It
in extracted from the Digestive Stomach of the
Ox, thus forming an Artificial Digestive Fluid,
precisely like the natural Gastric Juice in its
Chemical powers, and furnishing a Complete and
Perfect Substitute for it. By the aid of this
preparation, the pains and evils of Indigestion and
Dyspepsia are removed, just as they would be by
a 'healthy Stomach. It is doing wonders for Dys
peptics, curing cases of Debility, Emaciation, Ner
vous Decline, and Dyspeptic Consumption, sup
posed to he on the verge of thegrave. The
Scientific Evidence upon which it is based, is in
the highest degree Curious and Remarkable.

BARON LEIBIG in his celebrated work on
Animal Chemistry, says: "An Artificial Diges
tive Fluid, analogous to the Gastric Juice, may
be readily prepared tuo.o the meat and eggs, will
be softened, changed, and digested, just in the
same manner as they would be in the human
stomach."
1)1.. CIMBE, hi his valuable writings on the
"Physiology of Digestion," observes that "
dimiLution of the due quantity of the Gastric
Juice is a prominent and all-prevailing cause of
Dyspepsia;" and he states that a ditinguished
professor of medicine in London, who was severe
ly afflicted with this complaint, finding everything
else to fitil, had ,ecourse to the Gastric Juice, ob
tained from the stomachs of living animals, which
proved complFtlysuccessful."
1)1.. GlIA:l1A7\1, author of the famous works
on "Vegetable Diet„" says : "It is a remarkable
fart in physiology, that the rtomachs of animals,
macerated in water, impart to the fluid the prop
erty of dissolving various articles of food, and of
effecting a kind of artificial digestion of them in
no wise different front the natural digestive pro
cess."
