Asa Stooks Everett. They lately came here from
Virginia or the neighborhood of Washirovon l i

Lemuel Everett is sup...et' to be abou t 25 or 26
years old, about 5 feet 10 Meltee high, dark heir,
and a flippant demeanor. His brother Asa,
younger, about 6 feet high. complexion and de
meanor. similar to hie brother. It is supposed
they will return to Virginia. There arrange
ments were to visit a brother near Hollidaysburg.
The above reward will be given for the apprenem
elan and deliveryof said prigunare in any Jail in
this Comnionwealth Said Asa now calls hie

Huntingdon, justices assigned, appoint.d to hear,
try, and determine all and every indictments and
presentments, mode or taken for or concerning
all crimes, which by the laws of the Common
wealth are made capital or felonies of death .d
other offences, crimes and misdemeanors, which
have been, or shall be committed or perpetrated
within said county, or all persons who ore or
shall hereafter be committed or perpetrated, for
crimes aforesaid, I am commanded to make proc
lamation throughout my whole bailiwick, that a
Court of Oyer and Terminer, Quarter Sessions
and Common Pleas, will be held at the Court
HOUSP, in the borough of Huntingdon, on the 2,1
Monday (and 12th day) of August 1850, and
those who will prosecute the said prisoners, be

just, and that all justices of the peace, coroner
and constables within the said county, be then

HEREAS, by precept' to me directed by
V the Judges of the Common Pleas of the
county of Huntingdon, bearing test the 20th day
of April A. D. 1850, I am commanded to make
public proclamation throughout my whole baili
wick that a Court of Common Pleas, will be
held at the Court House in the borough of Hunt
ingdon, in the country of Huntingdon, on the 3d
Monday (and 19th day) of August A. D. 1830,
for the trial of all issues in said court, which
remain undetermined before the said judges,
when and where all jurors, witnesses and suitors,
in the trial of said, issues are required.

FOR SALE
A valuable farm and tract of land situate on
the Big Aughwick Creek, in Huntingdon
county, containing by the official draft
227 ACRES,
but by subsequent re-surveys has been found to
contain a large excess over the official quantity,
originally surveyed in pursuance of a warrant
in the name of David Franks, and is now in the
occupancy of Simon Gratz. A good part of the
tract is improved bottom land of first rate quali
ty,
and is well worth the attention of persons
wishing to purchases good farm. It is but about
one and a half miles from Orbisonia, four miles
from Shirleysburg—within about eight miles
from the Pennsylvania Canal and the same ills
lance from the Pennsylvania Rail Road and is
in the immediate neighborhood of several Iron
