dealers in Merchandize, &c., that I will attend
at the Commissioners Office in the borough of
Huntingdon, on Thursday the 11th day of April
next, for the purpose of hearing persons who
may desire to appeal from the above classifica
tion, as the amount of their sales for the previ
ous year.

Any person selling Patent Medicines yearly
to the amount of $lOO, or more, in connection
with.other merchandize, is required'by law, to
pay an additional license. Any person keeping
an Eating House &c, whose yearly sales shall
amount to $5OO or more, or shall carry on a Dis
tillery or Brewery, or shall sell Patent Medi
cines without a license, is liable to be indicted
and fined $2OO or more, as provided for in the
Act of Assembly passed,loth April 1840.
If the above license fees ate ndt paid td the
County Treasurer,,or ndt ofonetated by the
undersigned, he is directed to sue for and recov
er the same; ridding ten per cent to the licence
for his trouble.

jail delivety of the 20th judicial dietrict of Pehn+
aylvania, composed of the counties of Htniting ,
don, Mifflin and Union, and the Hons. hiihes
Gwin and John Stewart, his associates, judges of
the county of Huntingdon, justices assigned, op ,
pointed to hear, try, and determine all and edery
indictments and presentments, made or taken Mt
or concerning all crimes,vviiich by the laws of the
Commonwealth are made capital or felorriet of
death and other ofiencea,crimes and misdemeaaots;
which have been, or shall be committed or perpe
trated within said county, or all persons who are

The petition of Abraham Moyer of Morris
township, in the said county, respectfully show
ed' : That he occripies a house in the town of
Waterstreet, to the township of Morris afore
said, which his for many years been used end
occupied he a public house of entertainment,
and is desiroua of continuing to keep a public
house therein; he therefore prays your Honors
Co grant him a license to keep a public house
at the place aforesaid foe the ensuing year, and
