/FRE Subscribers, proprietors of one of the AI-
L eat and most extensive China Stores in the
United States, have now on hand a very large sup
ply of ~
Common Ware, Granite Ware, China
Ware, and Glass Ware,
embracing all the varieties ever imported, which
they will sell in large or small citiantities, Whole
tale or Retail, to suit the wants of the people, at
prices to defy competition.
The advantages to be derived from having a
large stock to select front, ought certainly to be ap
parent to every one ;only two need be mentioned:
let. The variety to please the taste.
.
2d. The advantage of purchasing at the‘lowest
prices; for it is certainly evident to every thinking
mind, that the larger the business done, tic
amalkr the profit required. It is so in every branch
of trade. The manufacturer sells to the wholesale
package dealer; the wholesale package dealer
sells to the jobber, and the jobber to the retail
country dealer: so that the farmer or consumer
of the article pays at least four profile! !
Why pay so snarly profits when you can come
directly to head quarters?

Why'," say they : the Wild Cherry Bark
and the Iceland Moss, Oho two chief ingredients
of this wonderful compound,) have been prescri
bed from time immemorial by the best physi. ions
—but, never, before, have cures so extraordinary
been performed."
The reason is obvious. The proprietors of IrVis
tar's Balsam of Wild Cherry do not claim for
their highly celebrated article any far-fetched, mys
terious, miraculous power. They have openly ac
knowledged the simple nature of its ingredients,
and only claim for their great and invaluable dis-,
covery the exclusive secret of

The most skillful and scientific physicians now
prescribe this medicine in their practice; while
neglected Doctors, of little practice, and mean con

medicine—they are at the same time compelled to
acknowledge its innocent qualities•

A very important disease over which this Bal

edy employed. The use of this Balsam restored
the Liver to healthy action, and in many cases ef
fected permanent cures, after Mercury and every
other remedy had failed.
Acre:Ka it; a complaint in which this Balsam

We are daily receiving testimony like the fol

Messrs. Berms & Ware: Gentlemen—l was
afflicted wills Asthma for fourteen years, and had
tried every remedy in the country. I had also
been to several physicians and found no relief
whatever. I was affiTted at tin es so severely, that
the blood would gush front my nose, and nay
breathing was difficult. Indeed, the disease had
gained so much on my health that I despaired of
ever getting well, when I chanced to get a bottle
of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry, which effect
rd a perfect cure, and I now consider myself per
fectly sound. This can be proved by numbers of
men in Franklin county and vicinity, and I think
it my duty to let it be known.

Dear Sir :—I procured one bottle of
Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry,
from Thomas Read, Esq., of this place,
and tried it in a case of obstinate Asth

many other remedies had been tried

Experience has proved that nearly every disease
originates from Impurities of the Blood or Derange
ments of the Digestive Organs; and to secure
Health, we must remove those lmpu••ities and re
store the blood to its natural state. Therefore,
when the slightest derangement of the system is
indicated by Costiveness, or any other sign, it ad
monishes us that superfluities arc gathering in the
System, which should be immediately removed by
an effectual purging. This fact. as stated, is uni
versally known; but people have such an aversion
to medicine, that, unless the case urgent, they pre
ferred the diocese to the cure, generally. Since the
invention, however, of
Cliekener's Vegetable Purgative Pills,
this objection.does not exist, as they are completely
enveloped with a coating of pure while sugar
(as divtinct from the internal ingredients as a not
shell from the kernel) have no taste of medicine,
and are as easily swallowed as bits of candy,—
Moreover they neither neat:setae or gripe in the
slightest degree. They operare equally on all the
diseased parte of the system, instead of confining
themselves to, and racking any particular region.
Thus, for examp'e, if the Liver be affected, one in
gredient will operate on that particular organ, and,
by cleansing it of that tree. of Bile it ie con
stantly discharging into the stomach, restore it to
its natural state. Another will operate on the
Blood, end remove thole impurities which have al
