OR.LE Roy's 'o'l:getable Utailvi• ‘;kl The only known Medicine that at the same time purges, purifies and strengthens the system. Lorrnorr, July 7,1996. PR. LE ROY'S Pills are a new medicine which has just appeared, and is fast taking the places of all others of the same class. These pills ore composed of many ingredients, but the two princi pal ones are Sarsaparilla and Wild (.herry, so uni ted that they act together; the cue, through its admix are with other substances, purifying and purging, while the other is strengthening the sys tem. Thus those pills are at the same time ton i c and opening; a desideratum long and eagerly sought for by medical men but never before die cowered. In other words they do the work of twe medicine., and do it much better than any two we know of; lot they remove nothing from the system but the impurities; so that while they purge they strengthen; and hence they cause no debilitation, and are followed by no reaction. Dr. Le Roy's pills have a wonderful influence i n the blood; they not only purify without weakening it. but they re more all noxious particles from the chyle before it is converted into fluid, and thus make impure blood an utter impossibility. As there is no debil itation, so there is no nausea or sickness attending the operations of this most excellent of medicines which never strains or tortures the digestive func tions, but causes them to work inn perfectly natur al manner; and hence persons taking them do not become pale and emaciated. but the contrary ; for while it is the property of the Sarsaparilla, united as it is with other ingredients, to remove all that is foreign and impure, it is equally the property of the Wild Cherry to retain all that is natural and so und; and hence a robust state of health is the certain result of their united operations. We ask the attention of the candid to a few considerations. 1 Nature in every part of her works, has left indelible marks of adaptation and design. The constitution of the animals and vegetables of the torid zone, is such that they could not endure the cold of the frigid zone, and vice versa. In regard to disease and its cure, the adaptation of remedies is not less striking. The JWoss of Iceland and the Pine and Wild Cherry are justly celebrated for the cure of all diseases of the Lungs and Liver, which are so fearfully preva lent in all Northern latitudes. From a combination of Chemical Extracts pro cured from this 'Moss' and those 'Trees' DR. WISTAR'S BALSAM OF WILD CHERRY is chiefly formed. Q. a CURES !. [Front Dr. Baker, pringfie'd, Washington coon• ty, Ky I SPRINGFIELD:*., May 14,1845. Mew. Sanford & Park :—I take this oppor tunity of informing you of a most remarkable cure performed upon me by the use of Dr. W tar's Dalsarn of Wild Cherry. In the year 1840 I was taken with an inflamma tion of the bowels, which I labored under for six weeks, when I gradually recovered. In the fall of 1841, I was attacked with a severe cold, which seated itself upon my lungs, and for the space of three years I was confined to my bed, I tried all kinds of medicines, and every variety of medical aid, without bandit; and thus I wearied along un til the winter of 1845, when I heard of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. My friends persuaded me to give it a trial, though 1 had given up all hopes of recovery, and had prepared myself fur the change of another world Through their solicitations I was induced to make use of the Genuine NA Istar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. The elrect was truly astonishing. After five years of affliction, pain and suffering, and after having spent four or five hundred dollars to no purpose and the best and most respectable physicians proved unavailing, I was soon restored to entire health by the blessing of God and the use of Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. It m now enjoying good health, and such is my altered appearance, that I am no longer known when I meet my acquaintances. I have gained rapidly in weight, and my flesh is firm and solid. I can now eat as much as any person, and my food seems to r gree with me. I have eaten more during the last six months, than I had eaten in five years before. Considering my case almost as a miracle, I deem it necessary for the good of the afflicted, and a duty I owe to the proprietors and my fellow men, (who should known where relief may be had) to make this statement public. May the Id ssings of God rest upon the merle tore of so valuable a medicine as Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. Yours, Respectfully. V% M. H. BAKER [CPRead the following from Dr. Jacob Hoffman, a physician of extensive pra9.. tice in Huntingdon county : Dear Sir :—I procured one bottle of Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Alibi Cherry, from Thomas Read, Esq., of this place, and tried it in a case of obstinate Asth ma on a child of Paul Schweble, in which many other remedies had been tried without any relief. The balsam gave sudden relief, and in my opinion the child is effectually cured by its use. Yours, &c., JACOB HOFFMAN, M. D. Dec. '23, 1841. BETV./IRE OF COUNTERFEITS. Condron, Frankstown I Experience has proved that nearly every disease originates from Impurities of the Mood or Derange ments of the Digestive Organs; and to secure Health. wit must remove those Impu•ities and re store the blood to its natural state. Therefore, 1 when the slightest derangement of the system is indicated by Costiveness, or tiny other sign, it lul -1 monishes us that superfluities ore gritheting in the t System, which shoo d be immediately removed by t an effectual purging. This fact. as stated, is ant , versally known; but people have such on aversion r to medicine, that, unless the case urgent, they pre )i ferred the disease to the cure, generally. Since the •1 invention, however, of Cliekeuer's Vegetable Purgative Pills, this objection does not exist, as they aro completely enveloped with a coating of pure while sugar (as distinct front the internal ingredients as a nut shell front the kernel) have no taste of medicine, and are as easily swallowed as hits of candy.— Moreover they neither neauseate or gripe in the slightest degree. They operate equally an all the diseased parts of the system, instead of confining themselves to, and racking any particular region. Thus, fur exalt , p e, if the Liver be affected, one in. gredient will operate on that particular organ, and, by demising it of that Excess of Bile it is con. stantly discharging into the stomach, restore it to its natural state. Another will operate on the Blood, and remove those impurities which have l randy entered into its circulation ; while a third will effectually expel fr, m the system whatever im• purities may have been discharged into the atom• ach ; and hence they Strike at the Root of Disease, Remove all lie sure Humors; open the pores ex. ternally nod ; promote the Inser, pilde Perspiration, obviate Flatulency, I :rads, he. &c.. separate all foreign and übtrox rue particles from the chyle, secure n free and healthy action to the Heart, Lungs, and Liver, end thoreby restore health eve, whets all other meant, hare ftakd. The entire truth of the strove cen be ascertained by the trial of a single box ; nod their virtues are so positive nod certain in restoring Health that, the proprietor binds himself to recur the money paid for them in all crises where they do not give uni. versa! satisfaction, Retail Price, 25 cts. per Box.
