acted that the foregoing IStu bection shall not.be
so contttued as to prevent any military officer or
borough officer from serving as Judge or Inspec-

Pursuant to the provisions contained la the
Act first aforesaiv.' , the judges of the aforesaid dis
tricts tdia31 respectively takechargeof the certifi
cate or return of their respective districts, and
produce them at a meeting of one judge from each
district, at the Court House, in the B rough of
Ebensburg, on the third day after the day of
eleetiou, being Friday the 16th day of October,
A. D. 18r,, then and tliire to do and perforin
those dutks lequiied of them by law.
And further, if an- judge, by sickness or r.n
avoidable accident is unable to attend said meet
ing of judges, then the certificate or return afore
said shall be taken charge cf by o:ie of the
inspectors or elorks of the election of the same
dis.rict, who shall do and perform the duties of
