THE Partnership heretofore existing between
It. A. Dorsey & James Dougherty, trading under
the name of Dorsey & Dougherty was dissolved
by mutual consent this day. The books of the
firm will be settled by It. A. Dorsey.

Orphans' Court Sale or Valuable
REAL ESTATE.
BY virtue of an alias order of the Orphans'
Court of Cambria county, the undersigned
will expose to public sale at the Court House in
the borough of Ebensburg, on Saturday the 21st
day of February next , (1857) at 1 o'clock P. M.,
the following resl estate of which Michael Mc'
Dcrmitt died seized, situate in Clearfield town
ship. Cambria ounVy being allotments Nos. 2,
3, 4 and 5, as mentioned and described in the in
quisitiou had of the real estate of the said dece
dent, viz :
No. 2 Adjoining lands cf David Sutton, Ma
thew Ivory, James Litzinger, allotments Nos. l
and 3, tne Ashland Furnace property .Jacob Wag
ner and James Stephens, containing 181 acres and
allowance a portion of which is cleared and hav
ing thereon erected a log house and a log stable,
in the occupancy of Lucas Myers.
No. 3. Adjoining allotments Nos. one, two
and four, and the Ashland Furnace property, con
taining 209 acres and allowance, a small portion
of which is cleared.
No. 4. Adjoining allotments Nos. one, three
and fire, land warranted in name cf John Bums,
and the Ashland Furnace projerty, containing
178 acres and allowance, about 30 acres of which
are cleared, and having thereon erected a hewed
log house.
No. 5. Adjoining "allotments Nos. one and
four, land of James Litzinger, tract warranted in
name of John Eoop, M'Derruitt & M'Guire, and
tract in name of John Burns, containing 2G3 acres
and allowance.
TERMS One third of the purchase money to
be paid on continuation, of sale and the resicue in
two equal annual payments thereafter with inter
est, to be secured by the iudjimeut bonds and
mortgages of the purchosers.

Committee, that said Uommittee have thought
proper to meet in Altoona, on Friday, 17th of
October, 1S5G, to distribute the property of the
Enterprise, when it is desired that as many mem
bers as can, will attend the distribution. As there
arc yet a few tickets unsold, in the hands of agents
