Pennsylvania to the lineal Descendants of Chris
tian Goughnour, dee'd, and all other persons in
terested. Greeting : You are hereby cited to be and ap
pear before the Judges of our Orpan'sCouit, at an
Orphan's Court to be held at Ebensburg on the
first Monday of December next, then and
there to accept or refuse to take the real estate of
the said Christian Goughnour, dee'd, situated in
Conemaugh Township, at the appraised valuation
put upon it by an inquest duly awarded by the
said Court, and returned by the Sheriff on the
Kinth day of June, 1854, to wit, at three dollars
and seventy five cents per acre.

Township on the 8th day of September 1854, a
bnndle Cow with a white back about seven years
old and had a sleigh bell on. The owner is de

coach leaves Jefferson for Ebensburg at 1 o'clock,
P. M., and second, at 8 P. M., immediately after

COKE WANTED.
COLUMBIA AND P1IILA. R. ROAD.
SEALED proposals will be received at this office,
until Wednesday, September 20, for supplying
this road, for one year, from the 1st of October
next, with about SC0O bushels of coke per week.
The coke must 1 made out of the bot quality of
Allegheny or Pittsburgh coal, and be lree irtm
ashes, dust, and small pieces of coke. Tieces of
less of size than nut coal will not be taken. When
manufactered, it must be soft, so that it will burn
freely and with a blaze.
The coke will be transported in car. A bush
el will be taken at 35 pounds, and the quantity
in the cars will be ascertained by the State Scales
Columbia.
Bidders will state the price delivered in the cart.
and the point where the cars will be received from
and delivered to, the Pennsylvania Railroad. Any
expenee in getting the cars on or off the siding
will be at tne contractor's cnarge. 1 aymenw
will be made monthly.
