clothing store in Ebensburg, a large assortment

among which may he enumerated a fine lot of
cloth, dress, sack and business coats of the Lest
quality and most approved style ; beaver, felt,
and blanket overcoats of all sizes; a large lot
of satinett and cassimerc pantaloons of various
colors and qualities ; and a splendid assortment
of Bilk, satin, cassimere, plain and fancy vests,
together with every kind of boys' clothing.
ALSO,
fine and coarse shirts, handkerchiefs, silk shirts,
stocks, umbrellas, and a large assortment of
superior hats, caps, &c, all of which they will
dispose of on the most reasonable terms. They
have also on hands a large stock of cloths, cas
cimeres and vestings, which they are prepared
to make up in the most workmanlike manner,
and on the most accommodating terms for cash
or approved country produce. The entire stock
of clothing is made up according to the latest
fashions.
Having selected their goods with great care
and purchased on the lowest cash terms, they
are prepared to accomodate their friends and
customers with clothing of a superior quality
nd at lower prices than goods of a similar
quality were ever sold in this county.

and English mcrinoes, of same colors.

We have also a good assortment of plain nnd
figured silks, which will be suld as low as they
can be bought at retail in any ef the Eastern
cities, consisting of glacie satin chien, poult do
oi, gro de Rhine, ottoman de velour, plain, lu
testring, black Italian boiled silks, together with
fchawls, Bay State, , printed, long, English,
French, &c, &c.
HATS & CAPS.
A full assortment of men's and bovs' silk, plush,
cloth and fur caps and hats, of the latest stvles
xu the greatest variety, and bound to please all
purchasers.

We have n very large assortment of all kind3 of
"Ui ots ana suppers; gents' fine calf and
kip boots, and heavy kip and calf boots, and
railroad brogans, which last article we will in
sure to wear nine months. We will sell a very
Eood article of heavy boots for $1.75 a pair;
heavy shoes at 75 cents to $1.50
GROCERIES:
Lower than they ever were sold here before.
e have a lot of good common molasses, in 5
and 10 gallon kegs, which will be sold very
cheap; X. O. sugar; Cuba and svrup molasses.
Nos. 12, and 3 mackerel, in half barrels, very
low. Coffee we will sell at an advance of three

cash principles, we hope to sell as cheap as any

ion and Stjie.
The trimmings we had selected by a lady in th
city, and know them to be the very latest fash
ion. We have a few made-up si!k-bonnets,
bonnets which are bonnets,'1 for beauty and
durability, but it is impossible to mention all
the articles that are new and cheap ; all we ask
is come and see.
NEW ARRANGEMENT.
We have come to the determination to Pell
goods at cash prices, without putting on any ex
tra profit us an olivet for bad debts. Any per
son dealing with us on credit, will receive a
pass-book, except when we have u different un
derstanding, and will expect all accounts to be
fettled by payment or note at the end of six
inonth, ami these terms will be rigidly adhered
to, By doing business in this manner, we hone
to sell more goods, and at cheaper rates. To

hotel in the Borough of Ebensburg, formerly
kept by James Khey, and known heretofore as
the "Washington Hotel," where he will be much
pleased to accommodate all those who may favor
him with their patronage, and will use every
exertion to make their stay pleasant and agree
able. His Tulle will be furnished with everything
the market affords, nnd in the selection of Wiuet
and Liquors, the most approved brands will be
purchased. His Stables are large, and will be
attended by a careful hostler.
Persons wishing to visit any section of the
county will be furnished with a conveyance.

Thc virtues of this remarkable remedy, and
the constant application for it, to the proprietor,
has induced him to have it put up in buttles,
with labels and directions, fur the benefit of thc
public.
The Petroleum or Rock Oil is procured from a
well in Allegheny county, ut a depth of lour
hundred feet, is a pure unadulterated article,
without any chemical change, but just as it tlows
from Nature's Great Laboratory ! That it con
tains properties capable of reaching a number
of diseases, is no longer a matter of uncertainty.
There arc many tilings in the arena of nature,
which, if known, might be of vast usefulness in
alleviating suffering and restoring the bloom of
health and vigor to many a sufferer. Long be
fore thc proprietor thought of putting it up in

Dissolution.
The partnership heretofore existing under the
name and firm of Clark, Craig & Co., in the
Tanning. Saddling and Merchandizing business,
was dissolved on the 1st of November by mutual
consent. The books of the firm are at the store
of Clark &. Craig for collection.

will continue the business of merchandizing at
