organize a company by the name, stylo and
title of the "Jefferson and Ebensburg P'ank
Road Company," with "power to construct a
plank road from Jollbrson to Ebensburg, in the
county of Cambriaby tho nearest and best
route or routes, as the stockholders or direc
tors may determine upon, aohjoeA to all the
provisions and restrictions cf an act regula
ting turnpike and plank road companies, passed
the twenty. sixth day of January, .one thousand
eight hundred and forty-nine, and tho several
supplements thereby.
Section 2, That the capital stock of acid
company sLall consist of one thousand two
hundred shares, at twenty dollars per share,
Provided, That said company may from time
to time, by a vote of the stockholders, at a
meeting called for that purpose, increase their
capital stock so much as in their opinion may
be necessary to compiete the road and to carry
out tho true intent and meaning of Ibis act.
Section 3, That if the said company shall
not commence the construction, of their road
within three years after the passage of this
act, and complete the same-within vpn r
thereafter, this act shall be null and void, ex
cept so far as the same may be necessary to

company.
