for the transaction of any business that

; Capt. B. F. Butler, of Bhippens
burg, and Capt. D. A. Barnhill, of
-Clevorsburg. They have attended to
the 'duties assigned them ; audited the
accounts presented them and issued their
warrants on the County Treasurer for

Cnown FLOUR.—It seems to. be
second nature of all good housekeepers
to, use none but good flour, if it can
possibly be obtained. There are a great
many brands of flour made and offered
for sale, at the present time.. Our enter
prising young townsman, Mr. Jacob
Meloy, is ono of the most extensive flour
merchanti in this place. has always
been'his Ogre to keep none but a choice
family article, and we think ho has
admirably succooded. The flour manu
factured at the Monroe Mills, Church
