WIIERRAS, in and by an Act of tho General Atl
satiably of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
entitled " An Act relating to the olectitins of this Cora- -
monwealth," passed on the 3d, day of July, Anno Dom
ini, 1831, it Is made the duty of tho Sheriff of every
County within this Commonwealth to glvo 'public
notice of the General Elections and In such notice to
