sembly of the Commonwealth of Pentiaylmnia,
entitled -• An Act relating to the elections ands Com
monwealth," passed on the 3d day of July, Anne Gem
ini, 1839, it is made the duty of the Sheriff of every
County within this Commonwealth to give public
