Commencement of this flourishing and pop
ular institittion of learning, was held in St.
John's Church, on Tuesday morning last.—
The exercises consisted of the reading of the

signers within thirty days after the election.
5. The minimum age for admissibility in
to the Common School , is raised from five to

the system of district institutes and re-estab
lishes the school month at 22 days. Dis
trict institutes may be held on two of these
days, but they are permitted. not required.
The last supplement compels County Com
missioners to make return of triennial enu
meration of taxables.in each district on or
before the first Monday in June, 1805.
Upon these return the distribution of the
State appropriation is to be based.
