The following Act has Leen passed by the
Legislature and t ccoates a law :
AN ACT. A)
To increase the pay of County Commissioners,
County Auditors. Assessors, A sistant As.
sessors, Directors of (he Poor 'and IliniSr—of
Employment, Jurors, Witnesses, it; Curittier
land County.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted, So. That from and
after the passage of this act, the County Com
missioners and County' Auditors of Cumber
land county shall intyM he entitled to receive
from the county treitsurer twodollars per llay
for each day employed in the duties of their
office.
SEC. 2. That the Assessors and Assistant
Assessors in said county shall each be enti
sled no receive one dollar ?int] filly cents per
day for each day employed in the dunes of
their offine to be raid 11.1. 110 w directed by atm.
Sec. 8 That the Directors of the Poor and
House of Employment of said county shall
be entitled to reetive tor their services

reefed by law.
