several of the teachers. Dr Klutfinau, also
made remarks upon the subject,. liemonten•
ded that it was of incalculable benefit, in the
disciplining of the mind. The following
resolution was offered for debate at the next
meeting. Resolved that Mathematics has a
tendency to discipline the mind more than
English Grammar. Those appointed to dis
