Resolved, That we of offer to the family of
the deceased in their deep affliction, our
heart felt sympathy, hoping that they, with
us will find consolation in the promises of
that Saviour, to whose love and work his life
was devoted and whose promises and mercies
extend to the living. as well as to the dead:
Resolved, That in token of our respect, our
ball be draped and we we the usual badge
of mourning thirty days.
Resolsed, That a copy of these resolutions
be sent to the family of the deceased, and be
published in the Carlisle Herald, Annapolis
Gazette and Chicago Tribune.

within the circle of her now sorrowing playmates, and

bf the parental home. From the time she lisped her
mother's name she manifested religious susceptibili
ties, and is conscience which shrank, like the sensitive

juvenile mirth greeted the passer-ky from morning till
evening, and all delighted to hang upon her sweet
strains, which now, though is to earth, aid to swell
the cherub chorus of the heavenly biome. She has

row which they have left:

the balance in the hands of Jacob D. Mohler, adminis
trator of the estate of Jacob Landis, to and among the
