Ditson a call. DEATH OF CAPT. MCCULLOUGH. — Capt. NfeCullough, of Dickinson township, Cumb. Co , was killed at Tompkinsville, Monroe Co., Ky., on the Gth inst. He be longed to the 9th regiment of Penna. Gavel. ry. His force, composed of sixty men, wai attacked by one hundred rebels twloTiging to MORGAN'S regiment, and commanded by Capt. lixidtvrex. The rebels were driven off with the lose of their Captain, awl three men wounded. Three of our men were also wounded. t DEATH OF LIEUT. J. B. KAUTFMAN. Lieut. J. B. KAUFFMAN, of the 9th Begt Penna. Cavalry, died at Mechanicsburg on Saturday last, and was buried with Masonic honors, by the brethren of Eureka Lodge on Monday. Lieut. KaurrwAN way among the first to volunteer for the war, and bore the reputation of a gallant soldier. lie unrolled with his regiment to the sent of war in Ken tucky and Tennessee; but the fatigue and privation, incident to campaign life soon pros trated him. lie returned home on sick leave a few weeks ago, and died soothed by the entree of family and friends.
