The proprietors and manufacturers of HOS
ETTRA's - cF,LEttI ATEA) STOMACItIIn
, ERS can appeal with perfect confidence to
aysicians and citizens generally of the United
*.utes, because the article has attained a ropw ,
oaten hoietofore unknown.. A few facts upon
point stilt speak more powerfully than
thrums of bare-assertion or blazoning puffery.
',e consumption of llostetter's Stomach
Bit
or for the last year amounted to over a half
.•llion bottles, and from its manifest steady
',crease in times past, it is evident that. during
ao coming year the consumption will reach
...ear one million hot tics. This immense nmouni
oould never have been sold but for the rare
medicinal properties contained in the prepara.
*ion, aid t ae sanction of the most prominent,
physicians in those sections of the country
where the article is best known, who not only
recommend t!lellit tors to their patients, hut
are reedy at all times to give testimonials to its
efficacy in alt vasesof stomachic derangements
and the diseases resulting therefrom.
This is not, a temporary popularity, obtained
by extraordinary efforts in the way of trum •
peting the qualities of ;he Bitters, but a solid
estimation of an invaluable medicine, which is
destined to bo as enduring as time itself.
Hostetter's Stomach Bitters have proved
a Godsend to regions where fever and ague
and various other bilious complaints have
counted their victims by hundreds. To be
able to state confidently that the "Bitters"
aro a certain cure for the Dyspepsia and like
diseases, is to the proprietors a source of un
alloyed pleasure. It removes all morbid matter
from
,the stomach, purifies the blood, and
Impart's renewed vitality to the nervous system,
giving it that tone and energy indispensakm
for the restoration of health. It operates upon
the stomach, liver, end other digestive organs,
mildly but, powerfully, and soon rest ores them
to la conditcon essential to the healthy discharge
of the functions of nature.
Elderly persons may use the Milers daily as
por directions on the Londe, rind they will find
in it a stinaulaut peculiarly niblited to comfort
declining years, as it is pleasant to the palate,
Invigorating to the bowels, excellent as a tonic,
and rejuvenating generally. We have the evi
dence of thousands of aged men. rend women
who have experienced the benefit of using this
preparation while suffering from stomach de
rangemen,ts and general debility; acting under
the advice of physicians, they hnye abandoned
all deleter-ious drugs and fairly tested the
merits of this article. A few words to the
gentler sex. There are certain periods when
their cares are so harassing that many of them
!sink under the tried. The relation of mother
and child is so absorbingly tender, that the
mother, especially if she be yonlig, is apt to
forget her own health in her extreme anxiety
for her infant. Should the period of maternity
arrive during the summer season, the wear of
body and mind is generally aggravated. 11ere,
then, is a necessity fbr a - stimulant lo recupe

mother to bear up under her exlmnsting I I.ittls
